BDR Board Candidate Submission Guide
Thank you for your interest in submitting a candidate for the Billion Dollar Roundtable Board of Directors. Board members and officers play a critical role in driving our mission to advance supplier diversity excellence.
Important Eligibility Requirement
Candidates for officer positions must have served at least one year on a BDR committee and have held a leadership role on behalf of the BDR.

- Executive Summary (150–200 words)
Describe who you are, your current role, why you wish to serve, and your commitment to supplier engagement. Include examples of your work with BDR and results achieved. Officer candidates should highlight relevant experience. - Professional Expertise & Skills
Showcase capabilities such as:
– Procurement and global sourcing
– Financial management or legal governance
– Marketing, communications, or fundraising
– Supply chain innovation (ESG/social procurement)

- Describe your involvement:
- Leadership roles on BDR committees (e.g., chair, co-chair) for at least 2 years
- Initiatives supporting supplier inclusion or Tier 1 engagement
- Experience with NMSDC affiliates outside the U.S.
- Network & Influence
